Mulch

Off to Home Depot for four more bags of mulch.  Here's the tally so far today:

Home Depot trips: 1

Target trips: 1

Panera trips: 1

More to come, I'm sure.

Thank God I drive a hatchback.

Casa for sale

We've spent most of this holiday weekend getting our house ready to go on the market.  My husband extended the back porch a bit and added a railing and replaced some of the bricks in the patio.  I've been doing a lot of cleaning and gardening.  Our house is going to have curb appeal up the wazoo.

Since last week, I am pretty sure I have made at least half a dozen trips to Home Depot.  Today alone I made two trips... I picked up 30 bricks for the patio and then went back for 25 more when my husband realized he didn't have enough to finish his project.  Mad props to Maira, who works the garden center cash register at our local Home Depot.  She's so nice and she's sold me everything from mulch to bricks over the past few days.

I've also been on lunch/dinner pickup duty, since both hubby and me have been too tired and stinky to cook.  Can I just say, the new antipasto flatbread salad at Quiznos is delicious.  I've eaten that twice this weekend.  It even has cappaciola in it... Tony Soprano would be pleased.  (By the way, the correct southern Italian pronounciation of that is "gabagool," something my husband still can't quite grasp.  I frequently have to translate for him when we watch The Sopranos.)

We're heading down to SC on Friday (taking the train) to scout apartments and explore a little.  I'm both excited and apprehensive, but mostly excited.  I'll have a full report once we get back.
